i love parsnips, especially roasted.
They're delicious, raw as well and leaves your mouth fresh. Did you know you don't have to kill the plant? You can leave a decent portion of the top and put it back in the ground so it yields seeds for next year ;)
Yes, i've tried that. Not had success yet but will persevere
Perhaps be more generous with the portion of the root you leave? Next time I cut one I'll show you a pic
