You can buy HP delegations from Ecency. That's mostly their usage.

Yep. When you Boost your account that's what you're doing, buying an HP delegation.
Boost just gets you a nice upvote from ecency trail.

In the Ecency's main page you can see a blue flame in the top right corner. If you tao there, you have the Boost+ option where you can buy an HP delegation from Ecency. You can buy it for 7, 30 or 90 days using Ecency Points.
Oh! Now I get it. How much HP I can buy with different denominations of points spent?
It's always around 200 HP. What changes is the time you stay with the delegation.
