I’ve been trading between hive and hbd on the internal market too. Especially when the hype with the perpetually trading on binance started I made a lot of hive.
I just have a bunch of buy orders and a bunch of sell orders on the internal market. When I sell some hive, then I put a buy order for a lower price. When I buy hive, then I put a higher price sell order.
That way the sudden dips or spikes trigger my orders and I make easy 20% profit swaps from hive -> hbd -> hive.
I like your strategy but yes patience is the key as market keeps dwindling all the time. I have not put any order yet, but I am simply watching the price action. But, yes, it is risky not to put an order beforehand.
True, the market is unpredictable. But by having these buy and sell orders it means that when the price goes up, I sell some hive for a good price. When the price goes down I buy hive for a low price. It is an easy and effective system.
Right now it sticks to sideways and I am waiting for the right moment to turn some Hive to HBD, previously I had gained some nice profits within a few hours.
