No, I never have gone swimming there. The water is muddy and fast moving and not particularly safe or pleasant.
The blue heron birds are fantastic at fishing and even though they are so huge with a wingspan of about 6ft, they are expert flyers.
Looking forward to seeing a blue heron one of these days.
They are pretty awesome to watch!
