Black History Month is celebrated every February in the US to honor the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans. The Blue Cross insurance building in the Chicago loop is all lit up to celebrate.

Sort:

Freeing the slaves is a good reason to celebrate!
Remind pls, on what dates is the Red History Month, to honor the contributions and sacrifices of Native Americans?
Thank you!

Native American Heritage Month is celebrated each year in November. The month is a time to recognize the culture, traditions, and achievements of Native Americans and their descendants.

Thanks for the reference, I was not aware of this information.
Is there anything else like this, maybe on a smaller scale?

I'm far from your traditions, so it's just a question.
I was surprised that the whole month is dedicated to the events, so I asked if the other 10 out of 12 are dedicated to someone? ))
