I am more interested in views. ANy niche here in this Hive ecosystem, even if you write a single word or two, and still get views, you are more valuable and your content is deemed as valuable. Just earning upvotes without views does not add value.

Perceive value you mean! What about haveing just view without upvotes! In as much as views and engagement matters the upvote also matters
If you promote views more than earning ability, one day you will earn more than your anticipation. If you promote earning more than the views, one day it will dry out and it may not be sustainable. Value generation and value distribution must go hand in hand. Value distribution without value generation will surely fail.
The blockchain is failing in that aspect
