RE: Ecency waves Sep 15

Ok, how can I get the waves app to work reliably? I keep seeing the keychain screen with a spinner and not quite sure how to resolve it. Annoying when writing something like this and then lose it. So I’ve copied this to the clipboard as I may need to kill this app and keychain to start again.

2 questions:

  1. What app are you using? The new waves app?
  2. How did you log in?

The new app and using Keychain to login.

Then that is why.
Log out.
Log in using either your posting key or your master password.

I think I used posting key, and I have no issues.

Logging in with keychain will usually require you to confirm a lot of stuff.

Hope it helps!

Yeah, I often use that for PeakD, shall set that up.

On Peakd I use keychain mostly 😂

Same here to be honest!!!

I could have helped, but I haven't downloaded the Waves app.

I am so used to ecency waves.

Writing a blog post in a text file first can save you a lot of time. At least once I lost a blog post because of a crashing application. Then I copied the text and/or wrote into a text file first. Nowadays it is a little bit easier. There are drafts in Ecency. And theoretically Ecency is also saving what you write in Waves. I heard that now there is a separate application (?) too for the Ecency Waves. I have not tried that so far.

To be honest the Ecency app is totally robust for me and the waves app less so but I’m sure they’ll get it sorted.
