I've been wondering that too. We have tons more witnesses than just the top 20 so I always thought that was like, the failsafe? Like if someone's node has issues it just bumps to another? But maybe I don't understand how it works.

Me neither, from what I have been told is that some dapps dont know have to automatically change to the next node, at the same time some dev keep saying is a blockchain issue others that its a dapp issue so its hard to tell whats exactly whats going on
