My country, Cuba, is a nation that, since its inception, has possessed a rich cultural identity linked to various nations. This union and its development in society created what is now known as the Cuban, a resilient and unwavering human being who fights at all times. Additionally, our joy and spontaneity have spread around the world in recent years, and thanks to this, many people have an idea of what Cubans are like, as the Internet became widely accessible to the population on the island after 2010. Our flag, in terms of composition, is simple compared to others, but what stands out the most is the freshness it evokes when seen and the meaning of its colors. The white represents the purity of our ideals, the red symbolizes the blood shed during the wars for independence, the blue represents our sky, and the three stripes also represent the departments into which Cuba is divided. Therefore, the star is a symbol of the sovereignty of our nation.
