The only important thing is the real, actual genuine interest is. The number of the comments is nothing, if there is no real interest behind them. A properly working social network is not competitive.
On a properly working social network, people write comments, because they are actually interested in someone and/or something.
This should be the real goal on the Hive blockchain too. Real, actual, genuine interest. I very rarely saw this on this platform so far.
After taking course from @ganjafarmer six months ago I realized that the hive.blog platform is basically more about crypto tokens perhaps I dont know cause I have seen people seem more interested in launching their own coins on hive rather than focus on content. But maybe I am wrong.
I saw something similar.
Most people mostly care only about the earnings.
And exactly this is what is wrong.
This is how they ruin an otherwise technology revolutionary platform.
I think you should give your honest feedback on the official hive discord server maybe. Because lets say i go to YouTube so on my recommended page I will go to content which interests me and only comment if it meets my interests perhaps. So basically you want people to come to hive.blog to meet their interests and not to gain profits out of it. I just feel you have a solid point there and that you need to talk to important whales about this on the platform perhaps.
