Of course, many posts only receive votes and no comments or anything like that, today I understand that sometimes it's because of the rush, but it's always good to try to leave something in the comments, it encourages the authors.

Indeed, I agree with you. A kind comment sometimes have more positive effect on authors than upvotes.
Also, I understand that most of the times a post get upvotes but has no comments on it it's because it was upvoted by a trail but no one of that trail has really read it.
Exactly, you've already caught one of Hive's streams! The trails help you not to stop voting, but it kind of leaves everything on automatic... kind of empty kkk, but that's how it is. The best thing is to balance everything!
Yep. I've joined a couple trails because it helps me to get passive income with curation rewards, but at least I try to complement that with manual curation.
Btw, I have to edit the settings on the trails I'm following because it's draining my Voting Power.
It takes a few days of testing to make sure that the trails won't drain all your VP, I basically follow the HiveBR trail, which is the one from the Brazilian community that I participate in the most
I'm following two trails, both with 60% of my VP, and with my manual votes my VP is at 76% right now, I think. I should edit that and let my VP rest.
I see, you really have to take a look and find the right point so as not to let the VP drop too low, some people tend to leave it at 80% but I've seen many leave it at 70 as well
I have read that the best is to not leave it below 80%. I'm gonna try to keep it between 80-100%
