I felt very sad reading that "Myth of Boosting" blog that day.. Wish I could tell the author of that post that you have done a brilliant job, It's just that people are not able to understand its value at the moment.
I think some of the large curation projects feel threatened when things are done differently from the way they do them. No matter how often boosts were explained to them they refused to take the time to understand. Ecency will continue to vote on posts!
I think you are right, the people/projects creating controversy and drama are just insecure and want to bring Ecency down by any means. But anyway Ecency developer will make something even better I'm sure.
But they do will understand, I will tell them, we will tell them. And then we'll never have to say goodbye to any good feature and the Ecency will keep getting bigger and better.
