Engagement?

In the proper Facebook groups (even in smaller groups), I do not have to write any comments, because people there care actually about the content, and about me.

They write a comment because of this, and not because I commented under their posts.

I feel like nothing is enough on Hive.

I was in the top of the Hive engagement league multiple times in the past, and the comments under my Hive posts were still zero or very low, while people in Facebook communities (even in smaller communities) always care to write comments, even if I do not comment under their posts at all.

And this is how a properly working platform works.

You do not need to write comments at all, because people naturally, genuinely care.

There are actual content consumers, and not pretenders.

Honestly even if the Hive users comment, it is often feels forced. They are visibility not there actually for the content.

The majority of the Hive users are content creators. There are too many of them. And there are only a very low amount of content consumers.

Many people left (and still leaving) the platform (or simply decreased/decreasing their activity on the platform) because of this.

Sort:

I've never heard of anyone being forced to comment. You don't need to engage if you don't want to. It's just recommended especially for beginners. For me, it is just the other way around. Facebook is a spammy site with just random content. Many people try to sell you something which isn't the case on Hive. Anyways, it is your decision what you want to do and don't want to do on Hive.
Enjoy your Sunday!
