I talk about comments. Not upvotes. I very rarely receive comments since I powered down my Hive account. Comments were regular until my upvote had value. Probably the comments would/will return if/when my upvote will have value again.

Well it's been interesting to hear your experience, not that I can do much about it. I think the experience each person gets on Hive can vary a lot, so it's hard to generalise. It can depend on who follows you.
Most of my followers, more than 1000 Steem/Hive accounts left the Steem/Hive blockchain years ago. Somewhat I can understand them.
