It is certainly not working.

Because, honestly speaking, even I tried it in the past multiple times.

I was in the top 10 of the Hive engagement league multiple times, and the number of the actual content consumers under my posts was similar to today (almost 0), when I very rarely write comments, because I spend very little time online.

And I post unique content (nowadays posts mostly about living with a Harris's hawk in a cave/tent living community in the rocky semi-desert), which is naturally standing out on a properly working social network.

Sort:

Whilst you are complaining about Hive others get on with it and do well whilst having fun. It's not going to be the same for everyone. Given the lack of earnings it has to be fun, but greed tends to be a factor. I think Hive can offer most people something, but there are issues. Anyway, I'm off to Hivefest next week to see some Hivers IRL.

I am not the only one "complaining". Many people agree with me.

Many people have (or had) the same or very similar experience. Most people receive only a few comments. Thousands of people left (and still leaving) the platform.

These are facts.

And the earnings are absolute joke. I do not even like to talk about it. I earn more with a few hours of working than with an entire month of blogging on the Hive blockchain.

I didn't say you were the only one, but it's not helping matters. We have to be realistic, but also ambitious.

Realistic. That is exactly my approach. Realistic and honesty.
