Honestly, I do not like it. I write only the truth. And I saw other people in the recent past, who also wrote the same thing with different approach (for example by numbers, comparing their traditional blog with their Hive blog).
Your statement is like as if someone would go into a restaurant, and he/she would order any food, and he/she would mention that the taste of the food is bad.
Then the staff would realise that it is because of a wrong cooking material, then they would still blame the custumer for "complaining".
You know that what I write is true.
And even if I alone use the platform naturally, then it will not change the behavior of the other users.
I also wish that this platform would properly work.
Like the Facebook groups.
I post, and people naturally write comments.
Because they actually care either about the content, or about me. Or both.
They are often strangers, sometimes friends.
But either way, there are content consumers for every post.
On Hive?
My latest blog post from two days ago (from 2024.09.07) about our recent music party in our party place in the rocky semi-desert has 75 upvotes, and 0 comments.
Even in a very small Facebook group, at least 10 people would ask about the party place a few hours after posting. Five as a listener, and five as a DJ, or as a music creator.
Both the party place and the community place is really in a valuable spot.
The airport is near, the ocean shore is near, San Isidro is near, El Médano is near.
Of course our community leader advertise the events in larger Facebook groups and on his Facebook profile too.
So the community is completely satisfied with the number of people on the party.
I am just surprised that literally no one actually cares on this platform.
And I am not alone with this experience.
Did none of the people in your camp comment? You are posting to a community that may not have many active people and I don't know how many of your followers are active. I have over 7000, but most are not around any more. Have to be realistic about the size of the community. There are more people just voting automatically than actually looking at stuff.
But I assume not on Hive.
Not true and bad use of 'literally'.
Anyway, I've had enough of your negativity for now. Maybe that is what discourages engagement. I shall go and enjoy Hivefest where I will chat to some whales and others with a small stake. What matters is their enthusiasm. Of course we will discuss issues with Hive growth and engagement.
Many of them do not even have internet connection. I try to reach other people. Mostly I speak personally to the people in my camp.
Amongst other things, this is what I mean, when I write that there is a general lack of real content consumers on this platform.
Why anyone would advertise an event on a platform, where the 80% of the contents are ignored and overlooked.
Not true? Then what you call receiving 75 upvotes and 0 comments?
Zero comments. Nothing.
No one cares. Literally no one.
You call it negativity, because the truth hurts you. I can it realism, truth and facts. Anyone can see it. It takes only a few minutes to look around.
