I do that too, actually, sharing my life in my Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry posts. That's what it is to me, a daily diary or journal.
Looks like we live a similar life, and we use the platform in a similar way.
Currently I live with my female Harris's hawk in a cave/tent living community in the rocky semi-desert on Tenerife.
Yes, I notice that every time HIVE goes really low when compared to the fiat dollar that activity and engagement on Hive drops off notably.
I saw that too. The natural usage and the real, genuine interest in the content is very rare on this platform. Hard to reach content consumers and audience (even with unique content), because there are hardly any on this platform.
There are 90% (or more) content creators, and 10% (or even less) content consumers. Most people care only about their own posts. Or maybe not even about their own posts. They care only about the financial aspect. The earnings, the income.
Most so called curators are the same. Many people do not even see the content they curate. They do it automatically.
Most of the posts are getting ignored and overlooked.
Thousands of people left (and still leaving) this platform because of this.
I also left this platform a few times in the previous years because of this. And this is why I decided to write mostly for myself on this platform months ago.
Most people are ruining this otherwise technologically revolutionary platform.
I arrived on the Blockchain almost 3 years ago, and I've been all-in for the long haul, giving my all every day, since. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
I registered on the Steem/Hive blockchain seven years ago (on 2017.05.17).
That's pretty interesting, and also cool! I remember reading some of your posts a while ago.
Yes, too many are only income-focused, without delving into the full potential of the Blockchain. I roll more with those that, like me, are all-in and consistent. Yes, Hive's financially system is brilliant, but it's based on community, so without developing and growing actual relationships over time, so much potential is squandered.
Indeed, I've seen that too. I do both equally. I've published 1-3 posts every day since February 1, 2022, and I've been one of the most active accounts in terms of engagement on the Blockchain. I want to help lift everyone around me, but I'm not here to do the work for people. I get though all notifications, of which there are always hundreds, every day, so I get all comments and replies, as well as visiting several people on their posts.
While I am in several curation trails, to assist multiple communities, and to keep my account growing, I also do a lot of manual voting every day as well.
Yes, the number of people that remain here is quite low, especially over time, which is very sad, as Hive is truly an exceptional Blockchain. I was never like other people. I onboarded myself, and started building and growing from zero, learning to leverage assets ever-more effectively. Everything I do on Hive is as much for everyone else, and the whole Blockchain Ecosystem, as it is for me, and it will always be so, and the more I grow my account, the more that I can help others do the same.
I truly wish more people could truly see and understand the incredible technology, the mind-blowing potential, and the great importance of Hive and what it represents.
That's quite amazing! I can't even imagine being here that long, but I'm not going anywhere! I joined on September 23, 2021. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
