I wonder what kind of exclusivity the buyer saw about the duct-taped banana to the wall.

Literally anyone can do that.

Some people even did it with an apple, and with other things too, only to make a joke about this absurd and surreal purchase.

And some people say that this has nothing to do with art, but simply money laundering.

It's a concept, not a physical thing and you have to come up with something original. I can't say I appreciate it all, but I think some artists are trolling their audience

But if that was, then the buyer took content/art consuming literally.

This is a question of viewpoint.

But I think that even a wall graffiti, which is called vandalism by some people, is more art than a duct-taped banana to a wall.
