It's very simple. You have a conversation with someone on their posts/waves and you leave the conversation open ended or even ask a question, which gives the other person a chance to respond.
Try not to comment with something that closes the conversation.
Then you can continue and answer that comment back! See? We just did it now.
That's true.
But there are so many times where all to say is the obvious, and then I see it as irrelevant to reply.
Am trying to get over that and just comment something anyway 😆
Indeed. But I think that possibly a hold back from web 2 social media where you become hesitant to say something because you get picked on for saying the wrong thing, people are mean on Facebook and Insta and if they want to, they just argue.|
People are much nicer and forgiving on Hive and there is a real reason you want a good interaction rather than being horrible.
So you come here thinking: That's something that does not need to be said. or That's not something that I can say, people will judge me. etc.
Generally if you are positive, there is nothing you can do that is really wrong when engaging on Hive. If you think that leaving a comment of encouragement is an obvious statement, think again! More positive feedback goes a long way for anyone!
That is a nice way to go about it! I wouldn't say that I care if people judge me for saying something wrong or anything like that.
My whole life I have often stated the obvious, and I've received a sarcastic "thanks" When doing it. Of course not always, but in general it seemed to annoy people, even if it was positive.
I need to get that out of my system and just say stuff!
You explained it perfectly though, thank you!
My pleasure! Feel free to practice with engaging in my content. But there are many other very friendly people on Hive!
Will try to remember! 🙏🏼
BTW, do you use inleo too?
I don't use Inleo. Why?
Just checking. I'm doing a small challenge over there. #gtac is the hashtag for it, in case you want to join. Only the second day it's running
