It's our love for them, there's no way. I'm a bit scared when they reach adolescence, but even if they get on my nerves or something, I'll love being with them and helping them to grow more every day.

The main thing to remember is that they WILL become more irrational and for a few years your smart kid will turn into a different sort of person. My best thing I did to prepare for this was to explain it to them that this was going to happen so that when it did happen, I could explain to a teary, moody, frustrated teenager that THIS is what I was talking about a few years ago and that it is OK.

That's perfect, it's a good way and idea to deal with the situation, taking precautions beforehand. I'll keep these words and start talking to them, my boy is 12 and my daughter is 8, so it's good to start talking to them! Thanks for this tip!
