My main philosophy when it comes to blockchain and investment, is to put my time and money mainly in platforms I actually use. Hive is one good example, there's just so much going on and so much to do here. The WAX blockchain is another. The fee-less and fast transactions combined tons of cool NFT's, many of them with actual use-cases, makes it a place I really enjoy being present.
Last week I wrote about vIRLs on WAX via artist BlockchainCards. Today I'd like to talk about another WAX project that I've been involved with for well over a year, and that is Clashdome.io.
Note: I am not a part of the Clashdome team, nor was I asked by anyone to do this write-up. I'm simply posting this as a fan of the project.
What is Clashdome?
Clashdome is an ever growing mini-game ecosystem where you earn cryptocurrency (the main game token is called "Ludio") each time you win a game. They currently have five games, all of them distinct in their style and thoroughly well made. And more are in the making. The latest addition is the pool game, Rug Pool (yes, the name is very awesome, but so is the actual game!).
One of their goals (as I've come to understand it) is that anyone that enjoys casual games will find at least one game in their ecosystem that they'll enjoy. They also don't expect everyone to like everything, thus there is no incentive (nor dis-incentive) to master all the different games. If you like only one of the games, you can play only that.
The team has constantly been developing and pushing out new features and games through two bear markets, which is pretty impressive by itself. This, combined with their ability to communicate actively with their community and listen to suggestions and adjust course when things aren't going as planned, are just some of the reasons I really like this project.
Provably fair duels
Regardless of the game you choose to play, whenever you start a match you're paired in a duel against one random opponent that approximately matches your skill level. You both get the same seed for the match (i.e. you get the exact same starting point).
You then play out each of your games for the highest score. When both players have finished, the highest score is awarded the reward. Both players is then able to, in retrospect, to view exactly how their opponent played out their match, as each match is permanently recorded to the blockchain.
Customizable Citizens (Game Avatars) and Apartments
To get your own customizable apartment you're gonna need a Citizen (though you don't actually need one to play the mini-games, I'd still highly recommend getting one). Citizens are NFT's that you yourself choose the appearance of when you mint them. To be able to mint a citizen, you'll need an "Amnio tank". At the time of writing, the cheapest ones are selling for only 100 WAX (less than $9).
When you've got your Citizen all customized and minted, you'll be able to stake him or her to your gaming Hub (your apartment). And then you can start decorating your apartment with all the awesome NFT's you'll most likely collect (at least if you're slightly like me and enjoy collecting things like this). Every week there's a weekly Ludio Sale with a (often but not always) limited edition decorative NFT, and sometimes NFT that can also give you slight advantages in certain games.
Here's how my apartment currently looks, after stacking NFT's from the weekly sales for months xD
Mobile compatibility
Mobile play works great by the way. Simply open clashdome.io in your mobile browser, and you'll be able to enjoy some rounds of Candy Fiesta or a game of Templok, and earn some cryptocurrency while you're commuting.
Whitepaper ++
Seriously, give the whitepaper a read. It's a good one.
If you've already got a WAX wallet set up, there's no reason to not head over to their site and have a look. Simply log in with your WAX wallet and you should be good to go (I'm pretty sure you don't currently need a citizen to try out the games).
And if you don't have a WAX wallet, perhaps now is a good time to get one? They cost about 5 WAXP to set up, but once you have it, you have it.

I tried it, and I even have it in my collection Citizen Pleb, but I couldn't understand how and what to do there... )
If you want to give it another go, I'd be more than happy to help you out. On the other hand, you're one of the most consistently good Splinterlands players I've ever met, so.. perhaps you don't really need another platform to kick our asses on xD
🤣🤣🤣 thanks )
Yeah! Splinterlands is first and one love ) Sometimes I try other games, some even managed to earn something, but Splinterlands was always the most fun to play. And in terms of income, there is also constancy here
And thanks again. I will keep in mind
