So I had this knife laying around that I got in poland. It was just a cheap knife made by schrade. So knew I wasn’t going to sell this to a customer. When I initiated the process I started by stripping the paint. Then I decided I would try to take it a step further by etching it. But my chemical wasn’t strong enough for the steel so I decided to carved it. (Not engraved). Then I took some caribou antler I had from a rack, and started making the scales for the handle. Then I took brass piping and wire and used those for the pins, layering leather between the handle of the knife and the carbou antler scales. Then I thought, well this knife looks decent, I mean i’ve already gone this far how about making a sheath for my boot. Then I thought well what happens if I want to wear it on my belt, so I thought yeah sure I will just make a little belt sheath, but no, knowing me I took it to the next level. I started making the sheath and had to make the decision between stitching or rivets?, I decided on rivets. How about a nice bronze trim for the top?, . Then I couldn’t stop there, I had to do a bronze trim all the way. And threw a valknot on with an oroborros ring. Amazing, it turned out fantastic. From a basic blade to a well thought out beautiful blade👌🏻👍🏻
