I really enjoy this. Technology in and around photography and art has been evolving so rapidly over the past few years, and I feel like some people are too caught up in the numbers, only spending money to have to newest, and "best" gear. This image shows that it doesn't matter what you are shooting with. Its that you have the passion, and that you know what you're doing and you want to be doing it. Followed. Hope to see more cool posts from you in the future! :)
Out of curiosity, what is your current favourite lens/camera combo?

Thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts and for the follow. :D
Sometimes for fun it's great to limit and challenge yourself by limiting your gear. I once shot an entire wedding with a 50mm 1.4 for a friend. Partly for the challenge and partly for not wanting to carry so much gear over seas.
Well in terms of my favorite camera - I only have the 5d Mark iii. Hoping to upgrade to version iv, lusting over what Sony is doing - but I'm stuck in the Canon ecosphere as I also have a Canon Cinema camera for video.
In terms of the lens it's hard to say. I'd say the 70-200mm 2.8 as it's a fun lens to use and I don't use it often as it's very heavy. I do like shooting the ultra wide 16-35mm f4 as it's a bit challenging to make images "look nice" with it.
Not that I'm thinking about it - I'm also lusting after the Zeiss Otus but it's a $5,000 lens. I can rent it - but I'm afraid to. Check out this review:
Ima throw it back to you and ask you the same - what's your favorite kit?
Thanks for the lovely comment and I also gave you a follow as Homer, Alaska sounds like a hard place not to get a good shot!
Drool. That looks like a beautiful lens. As for kit, I’m fairly limited right now due to being broke. However, for almost everything I do, I find my 7D II paired up with my 400mm f/5.6. I mean everything. Landscape, portraits, and wildlife. It’s just an incredible combo in my mind.
Hey whatever works for you. You can also consider buying used gear as well. We'll never have everything we want but as I mentioned earlier if you're going to buy 1 lens make it the 24-70mm f2.8. It's not a sexy lens - but it's a workhorse.
