I feel the exact same way. Growing up we lived on a dead end road, the lake in front, forest behind. If I wasn't by the water I was somewhere in those woods, likely down at the stream :)
Thank you @dreemit! Free-verse is like abstract art to me, more emotion than anything. Just turn off the voice in your head and write what you feel, there are no rules. It's like a playground for your muse.
