Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I last made a post. I have been busy anyways, here are some photos of my hike on the Blue, Perkiomen Trail Green lane park (we only hikes about quarter of the way) . The goal for going on this hike was to, one Obviously have a fun time but also to Challenge myself to take more interesting photos. Whether or not I succeeded is up to YOU! Overall the hike was a Great learning experience.
I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR WRITING ANY OF THIS. THIS IS JUST TO ADD MORE CONTEXT.
This area has a lot of history to it. "Originally inhabited by the Lenni-Lenape Indians or also called the true people. The Lenni-Lenape were one of the first Native Americans to come in contact with the European settlers". "The name Green Lane is believed to have been given to the early iron works located in the borough of Green Lane because of the abundance of evergreens covering the rocky hills surrounding the valley and the narrow road" if you want to know more about the history and the are visit this website : https://www.montcopa.org/DocumentCenter/View/2398/GreenLaneParkBrochure2015?bidId=
This trail is easy perfect for beginners who just want to get started in the world of hiking. We are greeted with two arched sapling that start the trail.
This is a photo of the green lane reservoir.
Here are some photos of the vegetation
This is a spring of water with an interesting rock formation like a small cave.
As an added bonus we were able to capture some photos of wildlife. This photo was taken by my cousin, I do got to say the close up on this one look amazing!
