RE: Wednesday Walk

I love seeing pictures and videos of old timey (I know not a real word) main streets like this. To me it always paints a picture of simpler times. Not to say I grew up during said times, but enjoying TV shows and movies like “The Wonder Years,” It is like stepping into that time period.

I also like when there are still remenants and signage of things that once were but are now long gone but they remain because it is part of the history of the town.

Beautiful photos and it looks like you had a beautiful walk. Thanks for sharing! 😎

Isn't this amazing that it is just outside of Washington DC? So many of the towns here make a seamless transition into the city hard to imagine but it's true.

I agree with you and the fact that it is old timey in between you and me I think we'll make it a word. It is old timey and it feels so good. You can all caught up in that wonderful feeling of neighborliness and loving mankind all over again. Thanks for stopping behind and I hope you have a most wonderful Thursday.
