Certainly affordable and foreigners are allowed to own apartments here but not houses which is great i can pass it on to my son one day :)

Thailand is very smart in this way they like to keep the real estate market controlled not like other countries that allow any foreigners to buy houses which in turn throws the housing market sky high. In other words they don't like to sell there country off like Australia has to all the Chinese and now the young generation Aussie couple can't afford to buy a house or a apartment because the Chinese have blown the market right out of propulsion.

Yes you can become a citizen but you have to form a company to be able to by land or house :)

Yep they are smart they are not selling out there country so easy and that's a good thing it keeps the economy more stable :)
