It is the perfect springtime morning at my house. Cool and fresh and my whole world is beginning to turn green. There were so many birds singing that it was almost noisy out there!
There are baby leaves everywhere!
The sun is shining through the tree branches
The mayapples have begun to appear in the woods.
And clumps of daffodils have begun to bloom
This guy was out enjoying the morning greenery, too!
#lookingup there is beginning to be a haze of green.
Spring is finally here!

Mayapples are a native North American Plant that grows in my woods and comes up in my flower beds. I will include a link that has a lot of good pictures.

"Spring Garden of Flowers Returns".
Days have passed several hours When the flowers wither and lose their freshness Mood bowed in the confusion of mind Breaking down in a combed hair strand All completely lethargic And the words came out with a bitterly Clammy air during the day without rain a year The dust flew between eyelash cracks Settles and opens irritation that hurts the eyes Until midnight arrives With dust and chaos that is not there master Enthusiasm settles in dream dreams Wrapped in a cold blanket from hilly winds Enlivened by rain on a reddish tile roof Dust settles, and mixes with confusion Grappling and thickens into the black mud of the past Flowing slowly in the soft breath sighs Accompanied by the leaves bathing in the wet Revealing the curtain of the flower's dream from the garden of dreams In the darkness that has become bright Warm wrapped in the arms of the sun Dew and the rest of the rain sticks at the end of the weeds black lantern decorates miniature langi t black as clear as the heart, no trace of dust, all has been washed away To the past estuary leaving the brightness of the crown and lips in bloom Spreading fragrant fragrance to the corners of the world Radiating the beauty of the returning flower garden When spring arrived in the garden of the heart In the heavenly kingdom of the angel. Finally! Am I right? We finally had a beautiful day on Monday and today is shaping up to be pretty nice too. I might even get to open the house up for the second time this week.

I had the windows open one afternoon! It is still cool at night, but it has been warming up to 65°/18C during the day. Hopefully I can make it without my FedEx packages now!
That bunny! I am finding where he has been eating my flowers as they come up! Usually there is a neighborhood fox that keeps the rabbit population in check, but I have not seen a fox for a few years.
I am sure you should be right now...Damn really rabbits eat flowers that's not nice the fox coat is worth more then rabbit coat someone is wearing the fox coat around there neck .. lol :)

It does seem like winter lasted forever this year! Seeing green again warms my heart!
If the winter was really long this year.
It certainly felt like it. In the past Jim and I would get in the car and drive somewhere where the weather was nicer than it was here. That certainly helped break up the long winter months. I miss him so much.
I know you miss him a lot. It is not easy to accept a loss like that 😞

Nice to see so many green things, though! My parents have a patch of May apples, but they weren't even thinking of making an appearance, yet. Your crop looks healthy and happy!

They are like that. The squirrels like to eat the bulbs.
I wish we could simply reason with them! Like 'here are some peanuts, now leave the flowers alone!'

It did seem to take forever for it to get here this year! My neighbor and I were predicting that by the end of the weekend we would no longer be able to see each others houses! The little leaves are growing fast!

I have seen snow in May before. The good news is that it doesn't last long!

Once the leaves on the trees fill in I don't get to see the sun until it is much higher in the sky. But having the green and the shade on a hot summer day is good!
Beautiful flowers Melinda and adorable rabbit. Wonderful shots. Altough I saw daffodils front of one house, I think they probably planted, because otherwise they are anywhere else. yet. Except the little blue star of Holland.
I have seen that happen with daffodils, too. They're planted in just the right spot and the heat that reflects off the house warms up the soil sooner and they start blooming!
