@tattoodjay challenges us to go out for a short 5 minute walk and take photos of the things we see for his #Wednesdaywalk challenge.
Going down the drive...this is the first thing I see.
There were two fawns, but the other twin skedaddled back into the woods. This little guy was very curious about me. A perfect start to my day!
So where did fawn no.2 go?
Back with mom.
I noticed a few happy little buzzing things.
Admiring my neighbors landscaping and being hopeful that the cable company will come back to work again soon on getting that cable buried.
My looking up photo today is this silhouette of a woodpecker and a robin on this dead ash tree. All the ash trees in our woods have been infected by the Emerald Ash Borer and are dead or dying.

Deer is very beautiful especially surrounded by beautiful scenery.
They are lovely to watch. It is easier to see them in the winter after the leaves have fallen from the trees.

Fun walk. Good pictures especially the first fawn :) We were out early and the owls were still out calling to each other. Very cool to hear.
I love sleeping with the windows open during the summer to hear the owls! Although last night there was some sort of raccoon ruckus out there that was not very pleasant to listen to!

On my little walk I only saw a couple of bees and a fly, but the pesky things do make nice photos. Love the brown beetle picture.
Usually that hydrangea bush is so alive with buzzy things that it is dangerous to walk past it to get to the front door. I had to search to find the brown beetle and the little Bumblebee. Your walk photos are fantastic!

It was ready to run, but was all stretched out to get a better look. Mom had probably told it to be cautious of people walking on two legs but she probably had never explained old ladies on mobility scooters to him!😀
