An Anticipatory Wednesday Walk 2

Another Wednesday, another day still waiting for Spring. Lucy the Dog and I went out to our favorite park to see whether the flowers were out. They're not, but they're coming. You can feel it in the warmth of the air and the blue of the sky.
The bridge between the old, castle ruins park and the new, modern exercise park. Both are equally great, just depends on what you're looking for, I guess.
Just another few weeks and this tidy little bench will be shadowed under a forest of cherry blossoms. But not yet. Not quite yet.
These are the steps up to the picnic area. They've been cleaned and groomed and made ready for hanami season.
And here is the actual picnic area. It is also cleaned and ready.
Last, just off the training and walking path behind the picnic area is a tiny shine with a few graves, memorial marker stones, and a fantastic view.
