Winter has been very mild so far this year in my part of Japan. So mild, in fact, that the construction firms are getting a head start on all their projects and there are diggers and scrapers and earth-movers everywhere you look. Here are a few photos from today's #wednesdaywalk.
I have absolutely no idea what they're up to here, but my inner child is urging me to run over and take the blue digger for a joyride. My outer adult is vetoing him. He's no fun.
The station is getting some much needed electrical work done out front. Which, of course, means digging up the entire street.
And one last shot of the construction vehicles at their impromptu staging area next to the tracks. It's been a while since I was able to get out and do some roaming around. As always, thanks to @tattoodjay for the inspiration and for maintaining the WW community.
Thanks for reading.
Howdy sir misterbob! wow look at all the cool construction machinery! I like that walk. Is Japan in a building boom?
Every spring!
Howdy sir misterbob! oh it's a seasonal boom, got it! lol.
Boys and their toys! Interesting pieces of equipment you found on your walk!
I am always fascinated when I see construction going on as to what is coming and yes my inner child also want to jump into this machines but alas my inner adult rules and spoils the fun
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk !tip
