It's #Wednesdaywalk day!!! Jackson and I went on a faerie hunting expedition today in the Noordhoek Common where we found any number of big and small, obvious and secret, weird and truly wonderful little faerie houses and doors.
We had lots of fun knocking on doors and leaving little leaf wrapped presents at the doors. What an incredible thing to relive a childhood interest through the eyes of my little boy and experience his wonder as though it were my own for the first time.
It's been something of an emotional few weeks for me and I've popped out the other side a single mother - and I must say as daunting as the future has seemed to be recently, days like these give me hope and joy as I walk through the world holding a very little hand and seeing things in complete earnest. Free of guile and agenda.
