While going through a mental breakdown, Is weed really the solution? What are teens really fond of these days?
Life isn't as hard as we tend to say. I am not a preacher or a motivational speaker nor do I claim to be wise, I am just sharing my thoughts and speaking out. Of course, My life isn't as how i had imagined it to be. But I really feel lucky & very satisfied with everything I have in my life right now as a teenager. I don't say that I don't do no harm nor do I call myself a perfectionist. I've done many mistakes intentionally/unintentionally. Who doesn't? But mistakes are to be corrected with patience and care, not with anger. Our parents and teachers all have gone through their teen age years too and as they claim to be proud about how they made it through and that we, teenagers lack wisdom, they sometimes forget that yes, we actually do lack wisdom and that we are 'to be treated wisely'.Sometimes we end up feeling bullied or let's say getting hurt rather than one integrated family together. Especially, In this stage ,we teenagers might feel as if We are matured enough to understand & deal with the highs & lows of life. Unfortunately ,how we act to show case our words fail in practical life. When the real 'lows' knocks at the door of our life, We fail to chose a correct path. We start getting depressed, the trauma enters, anxiety greets 'hello' & We end up getting weak! To escape from this trauma, We start isolating ourselves & help ourselves with the one stop solution in today's generation which is 'Marijuana'. Is weed really the solution? Globally, marijuana (cannabis) is the most commonly used illicit drug. Classified as a Schedule 1 controlled substance, marijuana is a mood-altering (psychoactive) drug that affects almost every organ in the body. The possible effects of marijuana include mood changes, suicidal thinking, and disruption to normal learning abilities. It may also be capable of producing dependency, psychosis, and addiction. Why is that teenagers, when in depression wants to smoke pot? A friend of mine recommended me to try weed while having a mental breakdown. Searching for pros of weed wasn't as difficult as I had imagined it to be. There were tons. The drug eases the pain of multiple sclerosis. It relieves arthritis discomfort. It might protect the brain from concussions and trauma. While not really a health benefit, marijuana spurs creativity in the brain. It mainly lessens anxiety that is why teenagers are fond of it. But, of course smoking pot in an excessive manner is harmful. Now, what I can conclude is that the the youths of today has been addicted to weed for a purpose and there's nothing wrong in it. Therefore , Weed is becoming a 'life saver' in a teenager's life.
Very interesting
Interesting diatribe. I think it also makes teens a bit lazy, but with older people medical marijuana is very helpful, especially for those with chronic pain.
Yeah!!! 😊
