Today millions of cannabis users are used to purchasing their flower, edibles, vapes, and other products, through the company website for the dispensary that they are going to order from.
You can also go into the dispensary itself, including drive through options that are available in the US market today too. But what if you want something different? One cannabis dispensary has looked to the metaverse and they have become the first ones to do it.
Higher Life CBD became the first cannabis brand to launch a CBD dispensary in the metaverse.
Shopping online and then receiving items at your door isn't anything new. Many might wonder why you would bother with this cannabis purchase arrangement in the metaverse when you can simply go into the store and buy, or online the regular website to buy what you want these days.
No matter what you might be able to buy in the metaverse and how many brands are now jumping in it is obvious when glancing at market feedback today that many simply aren't and will never be interested in the metaverse world.
One recent survey suggested that about 68% of adults are not interested in the metaverse.
There are still some people functioning in the world today who don't have a cell, who have never had a cell, or e-mail, and who aren't using the internet. We can expect the same in years to come with the metaverse as well, that despite the popularity and growing interest that there will remain many who aren't interested.
This might have been the first cannabis company jumping into the metaverse but they aren't likely to be the last.
