It's the weekend once more, whew! We are halfway through the month too! The days do fly, don't they?
So, what happened in the previous week?
Quite a lot. I had been a buzzy bee in real life for the most part, to the point that I was flat out each evening. It rained on different days, but I finally cleared the laundry basket, which is an achievement in a time when Mr. P is so close to making our home its permanent abode. I also made my legs happy and calmed my soul through a walk and was thrilled to have found a giant.
Then the other day, I clipped my hair short. I did not have to go to the saloon because none of the ladies there would dare do it. It isn't the first time. I've done the same thing before, although it's much shorter this time. Now my head doesn't feel so heavy anymore.
The hubby was taken aback when he arrived yesterday evening after being away on a city trip. His reaction was inexplicable, but I knew he liked it anyway because he kept running his hands on my almost bald head.😁
Also during the week, I had a lil expedition on the new frontend (breakaway community) here on Hive, the One Bitcoin Club Org, where posters can earn sats almost instantaneously when certain curation accounts upvote their content published through the interface.
I got mine some days ago when my first post was curated by somecallmejake, which I believe to be the community owner's curation account.
A nice tip, yeah?
That made me convert some HBD to sats, becoming my first-ever lightning transaction on the v4v app. It was easy, fast, and smooth! I am grateful we have such a tool here on the blockchain. All thanks to brianoflondon.
Anyway, those two helped increase my week's stacks, re:
Sats
- Week Eleven: 106,118 sats (0.00106 BTC)
- Week Ten: 88,043 sats (0.00088 BTC)
With the auto-buy still in place on the CEX, plus my first tips from OBC, and the HBD conversion, I have added about 18k sats in the week. That's a decent growth of about 20.5% from the previous update. My XVerse wallet has some sats too, although I intend to keep them there, so they have not been added to this week's balance.
The crypto market is still breeding mixed emotions among people - fear on some days, confidence on another, and what else. Me? I'm just watching, buying some, and saving too!
HBD Savings
- Week Eleven: 1,359 HBD
- Week Ten: 1,340 HBD
Added 19 HBD in the week, which is still a good number, considering the low price of HIVE. That certainly affected everyone's rewards value (content and curation). But we can stack up more HP at such times.
So yep, the week had been great in both worlds (irl and on-chain). Certain circumstances did make me upset and whine a bit (like our former President being hauled off to the Hague for ICC trial), but realizing such was out of my control and getting stressed about it benefits me not, I quickly shifted my attention to other things. That doesn't mean I am indifferent. It's just my way of keeping my equilibrium.

It sure is. There are times when emptying the basket was easy.
