WE 183 A weekend without mobile telephony

Greetings, dear readers, today I give life and love to the blog with a proposal that just read it, and it is the one that @galenkp brings us in his WE 183 this weekend, from which I chose to answer the question related to the so crowded technology that day by day becomes essential for many.

Could you live without your cell phone for a weekend? Answer why or why not, and what challenges you would face or benefits you would gain. Remember to use your own photos.

If there is one thing I am sure of is that I was not born with a cell phone in my hands... Certainly being part of the convulsive city and the new trends based on technology, in this 21st century, drives us and seduces us from all sides to adapt to the system, offering us endless tools and mechanisms that make our lives easier, leading us to be dependent on many things to quickly solve our daily lives, among those I refer to work, studies and connections with other people through networks.

However, I feel that I have been a little reactive to this cyber frenzy, I use the cell phone since my college days adapted to my conditions and context, that is to say progressively and according to my possibilities I started to know a world of new possibilities, which I have really given them use for the essentials, calls, messages, photos and videos, today I take advantage of some applications that are intuitive and I consider them easy to handle and that allow me to have attractive results and time savings.

So living without mobile telephony is something I feel I can adapt to easily, it has happened to me that I have gone to work and left the device at home for a whole day, I have also been in mountainous areas for a weekend and even more days, prevented from being connected with the daily life. There was a time when I had no portable phone for several months, and that made me adapt to the conditions of the moment.

Of course there is the need to maintain communication especially with my loved ones and when there are projects and commitments with work teams, aspect of what I learned to organize myself by carrying in my purse or backpack, a mini agenda with handwritten phone numbers, as well as a small notebook where I keep track of possible meetings and activities to accomplish.

In the case of not being able to call or send messages from my phone I have asked someone to facilitate that need, whether it is a collect service or a gift, teaching me to be brief to notify family members and report commitments, that is, not having a cell phone has helped me to be proactive and creative in some circumstances. This does not mean that I take away its value and do not need it, especially in these last three years where I have been gradually integrating myself with blockchain technology, being my phone a great resource.

Even with this advantage, due to my experiences I realize that being without a cell phone offers me the benefit of organization, prevention, accurate communication and especially the contact with myself, because also being without this technological resource, I have been able to enjoy full moments with nature and between my reflections without external distractions.

My dear Evev,
Although the cell phone allows us to be connected to the outside world, many times it separates us from our inner self, so important to know how to listen to ourselves without any distraction, it is the best connection with our universe.
Having a notebook and a pencil with the most important data is very useful.
