Saturn is simply freaky.

The amount of strange, occult, and dark things associated with this planet/god is astounding. First of all, it has those damn rings. Known as the “Dark Lord”, could this is also the inspiration for the title of J.R. Tolkein’s book “The Lord of the Rings”?

If you didn’t know already,

the planet Saturn has a massive storm raging on it’s Nothern pole that is in the shape of a hexagon. The sides of the storm/hexagon are over 8,000 long! That’s bigger than the Earth!

Saturn is a God:

Saturn is a god in ancient Roman religion known for dissolution, plenty, wealth, agriculture, periodic renewal and liberation. In later developments, he also came to be a god of time. His reign was depicted as a Golden Age of plenty and peace. The Temple of Saturn in the Roman Forum housed the state treasury. In December, he was celebrated at what is perhaps the most famous of the Roman festivals, the Saturnalia, a time of feasting, role reversals, free speech, gift-giving and revelry. Saturn the planet and Saturday are both named after the god.

And apparently the black cube of the Muslim religion, as well as many corporate logos can all be connected to the hexagonal storm on Saturn.

In the roman Era, Saturn was Thought to be Farthest From the Sun

This is why it was titled the "Dark Lord" and has been long associated with the absence of light and the color black.

The tradition of wearing the black robe at graduation with the square (think cube) mortar board, as well as judge's and priest's black robes can all be connected to Saturn.
