¡Rent-A-Whale!

Lately, too many users have been noticing the current poor quality of the Trending Page in steemit. And therefore, they have also been complaining about the same thing right and left. Most say they do not bother to check it for months due to the appalling quality of what you will find there.

However, this happens with the members already registered in the platform who have the privilege to login in their respective accounts right away and who can limit themselves to just check their own well selected feed and forget about the rest. Ok, that's fair, good and dandy.

But, what happens with unregistered visitors? Those potential investors & creative bloggers & writers. Those personalities and influencers with a long list of followers & quality performers eager to share their valuable art with us on the platform, etc, etc. And that by chance they heard about steemit once and when they decide to find out more about our ecosystem. They inevitably have to land in www.steemit.com home page. Or what is the same, bump into our deplorable and regrettable Trending Page?

¿Will They Buy It?

In fact, fortunately a few veteran and advanced steemit users have stepped forward and created some initiatives to try to sanitize the Trending Page a little bit. Among them Asher (@abh12345) with his proposal and competition a few days ago. Through which he even created the new tag #welcometosteemit to get adepts to his project in development.

It seems to me that I have read about other similar initiatives planned by other remarkable steemians too. But at this moment I do not remember who they were. So, I'll leave it like that for you to investigate this on your own.

¡Alright! then, ¿What's "Rent-A-Whale"?

I had a dream the other night where I was able to rent a wealthy whale after checking The Steemit Effective SP Ranking website. Suddenly in the dream, it occurred to me that it would be possible to achieve an agreement and partnership with one of those high SP whales in some sort of fashion similar to Ranchorelaxo-Haejin style of relationship. A win-win situation at full splendor, obviously. If I make them a truly tempting offer, of course.

My tempting offer would consist in promise them that if any of them commits to vote faithfully each and every one of my posts with enough weight and value to reach the Trending Page. I would sanitize it in a blink with my stunning marvelous and persuasive content to attract, seduce, convince and recruit whoever were dare enough to stick their nose in steemit website home page to be subjugated by my irresistible prose. And then, induce them to register immediately in our platform and invest in Steem until their last dime. ¡Grooovy! ¿eh?

Well, but so you can better understand what the offer consists of. I think I should explain it and develop it a bit more.

I would offer to any of these rented wealthy whales. That might be interested in safeguarding their current investment in Steem. And that they were also interested in seeing his investment grow minute by minute through simply curating the amazing and persuasive act of magic that my posts would exercise on every valuable new visitor to the trending page at sight of everyone. These massive recruits would become their instant unconditional subjects. Voting their witnesses afterward and also willing to be squeezed, exploited and eager to please the slightest whim of any wealthy whale that is willing to support me in the way I have already described it above.

Of course, for that I would offer to create and produce at least one excellent post every day. Or more than one every day if it were required by the rented whale that is willing to fulfill their part of the deal. I have not the most minimal doubt that with my convincing chant of mermaids I would turn these wealthy whales into millionaires in a heartbeat. Especially, with the humongous amount of notable exclusive servants and vassals that I would lavish on them in exchange of their continual support and heavy upvote at 100% of their VP on every post I would create. It seems to be a good deal. ¿Right?

Ok, and what do I gain with all this? Some may be asking.

Well, apart from sanitize, restructuring and give real value to the trending page. Also encourage the creation of authentic communities of valuable QUALITY content. Where all current participants suddenly feel happy and encouraged to promote and invite their friends, acquaintances and family to join our ecosystem, ceasing to be afraid and ashamed to do so.

I believe, that with just inject a true long term approach of what steemit certainly might become into the next future for everyone benefit. Just that, it would be enough satisfaction, gain & profit for me. At least that's my point of view.

Yeh Yeh Yeh, but.. ¿what do you plan to do with all that money that you will earn through all those succulent heavy upvotes at 100% of their VP from the rented whales?

Oh! I'm glad you ask this. As I am a chap of modest tastes and a frugal life on the edge of the end. Stepping on the threshold of the last farewell. I would like to see for once things move towards a better world. ¡A qualitatively better world! Where I could have contributed in something to achieve it from my humble position. And encourage others to follow suit.

Therefore, for this ambitious project, I just will create the tag #RentAWhale with which I will invite all the steemians of good will with more resources and seriousness than I. And certainly with much more coherence than mine to make plans and projects that actually work out for steemit. To use this new tag as you please to achieve the goals.

On the other hand, If after the not very promising prospects that seem to lean out in my country from the next presidential election this Sunday, May 20. if I remotely managed to get even one lone upvote at 100% of their VP of any of these wealthy whales shown on the Steemit Effective SP Ranking website. Perhaps, maybe, probably I would try to continue creating 'projects' that eventually would inspire others to follow suit. And if I were able to raise enough money like to retire and retreat my old bones to a peaceful and remote place in the jungle. Near to the bank of a river and with good wireless coverage of internet connection.

I would purchase an OPod Tube House

And I would demand that it be sent to me and delivered at that nice and peaceful place in the jungle from where I will continue contributing to steemit with my quality content, great projects and extravagant ideas.
