Avoid the calculated giver. The one who says come eat and drink but his heart is not with you. For that morsel of meat, he will want control over your soul and your decision-making process. If you refuse to give him, he declares war on you claiming his small morsel of meat is responsible for a lot going on in your life, exaggerating the effect of his "small meal" and blaspheming the worthy name by which you are called. This will leave you with a sense of deep regret for ever opening the door and allowing him in.
Beware of this kind of friends

Give and Take relationships are a norm these days..
Almost all people have vested interests.
So few good people left on the planet.
Thank you for the friendly Reminder :)
Great.
Practice giving things away, not just things you don't care about, but things you do like. Remember, it is not the size of a gift, it is its quality and the amount of mental attachment you overcome that count. So don't bankrupt yourself on a momentary positive impulse, only to regret it later. Give thought to giving. Give small things, carefully, and observe the mental processes going along with the act of releasing the little thing you liked.
I have had friends like this and it takes me back, some of them are still my friends because although they started as monumental cliffs i have been gradually eroding them with gently lapping waves:)
