Can just imagine the number of French people considering dumping their savings into Bitcoin. Just this week, I received more than usual offers on localbitcoins from French buyers. What's strange is they think it's wrong to refer to Bitcoin as cryptocurrency, given that the term emerged thanks to Bitcoin.

Indeed! These kinds of "warnings" are partially born out of fear... fear that the banking system doesn't understand what is happening, and fear that their days are numbered.
