You must have caught the Black Spot window, where an account was recharging or a curator was resting at the time.
Mind you we are only human. There are accounts going back previous days posts and get it curated.
Please be patience.
With Steemit down , we do have a lot of back log posts to look at.

I was thinking about it. This morning Steemit's server also down in Taiwan, and I was thinking maybe this one of causes why the #whalepower doesn't work for a few day.
