Dearest community members,
I have sat down many times to write this over the last couple days. I knew that it was something I needed to write, but each time I sat down to start typing away, I just felt a bit sad. The whaleshare community has become a big part of my life. The people there are the people I want to tell all about particularly bad days, and amazingly good ones, and it was hard for me to speak to them about the challenge we are facing, without feeling a little sad, and a lot of uncertainty. Today, I feel more confident in my ability to tell the community that this is not the end, but rather a new beginning.
Before I go any farther, I would like to thank @blocktrades for delegating SP to the @officialfuzzy account for the last few months, without your delegation the token (and also the community) would likely not have been available to help as many minnows as it has. As most of you are likely aware, blocktrades has undelegated to whaleshares, therefore the amount of an upvote that whaleshares token gives is greatly reduced. I urge you to visit www.steemd.com/@officialfuzzy BEFORE using whaleshares as the upvote is now a small fraction of what it was. On to a happier note, some of the best people i know are part of the whaleshare's community. We are brainstorming ways to rebuild, and I am lucky to be part of a fantastic team. @officialfuzzy, @akrid, and @steempowerpics are all fiercely dedicated, and uber passionate about the whaleshare community, just like I am. (sidenote: you guys are valued <3) Together with them, and other key members in the community, I am confident in our ability to give whaleshares the backing it needs, so it can continue to be a viable and valuable tool for members of the community. We have accomplished many things in the short time the community has existed. I know this community is destined for greatness and look forward to continued growth. A couple of us have delegated a bit to the @officialfuzzy account to bring up it's value a little bit. It is going to take time, dedication, and maybe even a bit of creativity, but we are not giving up. Come hang out with us anytime!

I hope the whaleshares will be back again, i would choose sticking with them, and keep promting them so that their users does not increase, i think we all can just keep collecting them and trade them for bts to keep them in run untill no solution comes out, or this does not sound feasible? 🙄🙄😣
🐳 Whaleshares has definitely grown into a great community with incredible role models and leaders like yourself. It was so good to see how we all stepped overcome setbacks a few months ago, and we will push on and overcome this challenge as well. Thank you for all that you do.

I also think that the community is good, but we are already in a lot of discord chats, the only thing I do usually is share my post in post promotion channels, but it doesn't help a lot, what whaleshare can provide, I know that I can recieve from them an upvote for money, but what if I don't have money, is there an other way to grow and to be noticed ? how to get a deligation from someone ? How to deal with the community to grow ? Can you tell me how to start ?
Whaleshares weren't intended to be bought but rather given away or earned...discord is great for networking, we have a promote your post event every thursday...you should come join us.
I am already there, but what I have to do to grow tell me, I always send the link to promo channel but it doesn't help, I bought a few times upvotes with whaleshares but I feel that is too expencive, how to earn a lot of whaleshares ?
Well as I stated in the post their value is greatly reduced right now. But in the discord there are links to contests and live events many of which give away free whaleshares. Try following @contests also.
Shame to see this happen. Thanks for letting us know though. Always nice to know the real value of your assets.
