Its really hard to get up so early, especially on sundays. But theres nothing we wont do for our love ones right?
So let's start the day with a hot coffee and a cold bath, after that when we are fully awake lets pack some breakfast and lunch and were of to work.
What i do for a living?
I work at a steel fabrication company we make sinks, grills, fryers, boilers, ovens and a lot of stainless steel equipments you could find in your favorite fastfood's kitchen.
Ill show you some of our machines that we use in our work and the basic idea of how it operates and its purpose.
This is your little fieldtrip on a steel fabrication company.
Before we start please bear with the low quality photos it was taken with a mobile phone in breaktime and in secret, because it was forbidden to bring mobile phone inside.
And here we go, our first destination is the shearing machine.
This machine cut the materials into the desired size and so that it could put easily on our next machine.
We also write the parts name thats been cut so it could be easily be recognize by the operator of our next machine.
Our second one is the punching machine this machine put holes, slots curves and other small details in the materials that now had a part name. Programs were put in a flash drive and installed on this machines computer to acurately put holes in each part for each project. This machines makes the loudest noise, we need to raise our voice when we speak to others when we are near it.
This is also a punching machine but a latest model.
Third is the deburring machine
this machine remove burrs made by the punching and shearing machines dies and sharp cuts. this machine is the latest addition to our department, they usually use manual grinding before this one came. This machine is really a time saver as its name imply, you can put several small parts from one side and its rotating rubber matt floor brings it to the other side deburred and smooth to touch. (sorry about the photo i was really close to it and didnt capture the whole machine)
Fourth and final machine and also the machine me and my partner operates the bending machine. This machine bends, emboss and also put some markings on the materials and parts heres some of what we made today.
Thats the end of the proccess in the fabrication department. After we bend the parts it will be collected by the workers on the next department which is the assembly where they put this parts together by welding and screws after that it then goes to technical department to put the wires, fans, switches, lights and other technical stuff. Then finishing department for sand blasting, paints, more deburring and finishing touches. Lastly it goes to shipping department
I would really like to give more details and photos on the other departments but havent got that far, maybe when we change into graveyard shift i could get some more pictures.
Heres some sample of our finished products:
(this one dont have technical stuff so it close on our area and i get to take a shot on it)
