我想主要是巴士司機工時長，休息時間少，沒人願意入行，加上現在有很多有錢人和大企業都請私人司機，我有一位原本做巴士司機的朋友就走去做大企業的私人司機，人工不但高了，還不用經常出車，不知過得有幾滋潤，就更沒人願意去做巴士司機了。

另一方面成為巴士司機的門檻高，要持有駕駛執照滿3年才可入行，讓專做香港人不願做的工種的新移民很難入行，所以巴士公司唯有不斷堆高人工福利，聘請兼職，以解決人手問題。
