Hoopla! What's with all the hoopla? Things are going all crazy over the omicron hoopla. But why? What's so much worse about it? Why the grave and imminent threat more than what was already there? What is the evidence that this poses more of a threat?
It doesn't look like there's any. All they have are mutations, many mutations, everywhere, so many. As if mutations equal more deadly. But from the people who have experienced the omicron variant allegedly affecting people and what their sickness looks like, they are saying is very mild, milder than the other variants.
Even the health minister of South Africa says is no evidence it's more deadly. He even said that the European government actions are unjustified.
But that didn't stop European governments from claiming a higher level of risk, and justifying themselves with banning flights from South Africa or other African regions. That didn't stop them from initiating more lockdowns and restrictions on people "just in case".
That's always the BS justification, isn't it? Just in case. Just in case we have to lock you in your home. Just in case we have to shut down your business. Just in case, so you better do what we tell you to do.
Here is someone who has direct first-hand experience with people who are allegedly infected with the omicron variant. She speaks of the symptoms which are tiredness, headaches and scratchy cough. Just like a mild cold or the flu. This is nothing to be panicking about.
What's worse, is rather than admit that they don't know if it's worse or not as serious as what is already going around, they (the media and government politicians and their approved experts) simply stating as if it's a matter of fact that this thing is dangerous. Or at least that's the impression they give even though the give qualifiers like "may be" or "might". The impression being given is that there is danger and that you need to listen to government and obey whatever they tell you to do once again.
But there is no evidence of this grave threat that there warning about. The evidence so far suggests that it's nowhere near the threat they are suggesting, and it's even mild at that.
