The Glanfarclas 30 years old is one of the oldest whiskies of the core range. In 2016 it has been relaunched with a modern and innovative presentation. The box was designed as an homage to the iconic red door of the Glenfarclas warehouse. The whisky itself still is a superb single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery, aged for at least three decades. The result is a fantastically full-bodied and satisfyingly Sherried, all-around awesome flavour profile.
TASTING NOTES by Glenfarclas
Nose: Full complex aromas with fruit and Sherried malty notes
Flavour: With Sherry, Brandy, Cognac, fruits, nuts, marzipan (and even icing), this is a wonderfully indulgent Christmas Cake in a glass
Finish: A whisky you never want to end and it very nearly doesn't. The finish is exquisite with a real taste of burnt chocolate at the back of your mouth.
