I don't talk about new versions for Nintendo Wii or DS, I talk about old games for Nintendo and Super Nintedno consoles. I just installed Nes emulator and downloaded roms for it. I can't describe how I feel right now.
I have these four games now on my phone: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World!
I just entered the first one to hear the music. Everybody remember this melody!!! I played it more than 20 years ago, but it is still in my head!
So now I have to save the princess Toadstool and kill evil Bowser. Before that I must travel trough Mushroom Kingdom, kill many turtles and other kind of enemies. But first, I must find mushroom to grow up, so my enemies wouldn't kill me with just touch! It would be nice to have a fire flower and just shoot on them!
I just hate undersea levels! I'm great diver in real life, but in Super Mario it's different story.
Super Mario was born 1985, as I am, so we share the same name and the same age! There was a game Mario Bros in 1983, but real Super Mario came in Mushroom Kingdom two years later.
Today we have modern versions but without this magic!
Super Mario 3 was a game changer for me. Pun intended. The animal suit power ups really made a difference with being able to explore and clear a level. Also, I did enjoy defeating the Koopa Kids instead of a poser Bowser seven times.
my grandmother still plays these games daily on NES.
Say hello to her. My grandma still watches greyscale tv
Man I rememver my old NES. It was thr first console I ever had and I used to play it all the time. Duckhunt, Mario 1-3, Zelda, Punchout, Ninja Turtles, Batman, Donkey Kong, & Excitebike. Good times, good times. ^-^
