πŸ††πŸ…ΈπŸ…ΊπŸ…ΈπŸ†ƒπŸ†πŸ†„πŸ†ƒπŸ…·: Tweet This πŸ–• (exclusive anonymous-insider interview)

Twitter, what once was a odd and simple little website has suddenly turned into a multi-avenue conglomerate stealthily under our noses. Being the go-to place for news, opinions, announcements, and updates, it's time to seriously look into this social media startup and see what all those tweets have to say.

WikiTruth, in more than 240 characters, takes an inside look at the social media megastar who's censoring, hiding, hindering, and swaying the public message. With a WikiTruth-exclusive interview from an anonymous source from within Twitter's company. This is going to get messy...

Twitter, with all its power and influence, should not be in control of who's allowed to say what on their platform. They have joyfully embraced their new role of public utility, and they should now start acting accordingly.

Social media sites, most notably Twitter, are censoring left & right in order to control the public narrative.

This is not about political correctness or anti-Trump propaganda, this is about controlling public perception through social media.

And this is the real danger we face:
As we have seen during our campaign, there is a clear trend for people on the left to become hyper-PC, and the right to become hyper-libertarian.
The left is hyper-PC about 'political correctness.' The right is hyper-libertarian. We will be dealing with both sides in the next step.

Recently, WikiTruth was granted the great pleasure to conduct an interview with an actual Twitter employee. This person will remain anonymous to protect their identity & job, but we will say that they are in the room for most of the decisions that get made over there.

WikiTruth: "Would you say that Twitter is abusing their powers to censor public discourse?"

Source: "Absolutely. Most of us here feel that way, but there's no system in place to voice our objections."

WikiTruth: "Do you think Twitter is knowingly abusing this power?"

Source: "Honestly, yes. As unfortunate as it is to say, I've noticed far too many instances of self-awareness in regards to how they censor people. They often act in a style of 'Will censoring this help us?', rather than asking whether or not they should be censoring anything in the first place."

WikiTruth: "Is Twitter doing all of this to push an agenda?"

Source: "Oddly enough, that's tough to say. Certain days, I'm not more certain of anything else. The seemingly surgical strike of removing differing opinions makes me strongly believe that they have a certain ideology they're trying to promote. However, other days, they will just go on a spree of stupid decisions and censor random people. I feel like their bi-polar, where half the time they're pushing an agenda and the other half they're just pressing buttons for fun."

WikiTruth: "To be clear, do you think users are being unjustly banned from Twitter's platform?"

Source: "In my personal opinion? Yes. In my career-based, logical opinion backed up by evidence that I've seen? Also, yes! I've overheard top-level executives joking about 'pushing new guidelines' in order to justify the recent ban they handed out. It's almost common practice now for these managers to ban first, and look for reason later. Sitting in on a meeting that took place in a higher-up's office, I took a glance over at their computer screen and noticed a list of users that were queued up in this software we use to automate and batch large quantities of tasks. They were all queued up to be banned and deleted. Next to the tool's window, a text document was opened that had each user's name on it, followed by a list of 'possible ban-able offenses'. I remember reading that list and thinking to myself: 'Wait a minute, half of those reasons aren't even things we ban for...'. Not a week later, we rolled out a new EULA with those reasons added to the list of ban-able offenses. I was disgusted by this ruthless censorship, to be quite honest."

WikiTruth: "Have you noticed any other wrong doings at Twitter, other than user-censorship?"

Source: "My position only grants me access to user reports, logs, and gets me a seat at various meetings with the focus being on how to 'clean-up' our platform. My co-workers have all shared stories about other shady actions going on, but I can't speak on record regarding those. I'm just not qualified to discuss that kind of stuff.... Wouldn't surprise me though!"

WikiTruth: "Is Jack always in charge? Or is there a team of people that are making decisions above his head?"

Source: "Publicly, Jack is definitely in charge. He's the face of the site, after all. However, I get the strange sense that he doesn't really do much here. Most of the time, orders are given down to me from people I've never seen nor heard of before. I've spoken with Jack a number of times, and he always seems spaced out in regards to the current state of affairs. Not like he's stupid or anything, to the contrary in fact. Jack is a very smart man, but I question how much input he truly has in Twitter at this point. I fear that the classic corporate corruption has gone on, where we now just have giant circle-jerk groups of managers who are just doing what they want to better line their pockets."

WikiTruth: "Final Question: Do you recommend other social media sites that users should switch to?"

Source: "Honestly, not necessarily. No other popular social media companies are doing things much better. However, alternatives like, for instance, Steem, do make me hopeful for the future. If Steem were to get more popular and increase its user-base, I think I could finally recommend someone a truly fair and open site to use."

We here at WikiTruth would like to thank our source for reaching out to us for this article. We hope this gives some insight into our lousy state of current social media control & censorship.

What will the outcome of this digital-dictatorship end up being? That is up to how you, the users, choose to react. WikiTruth stands for freedom for all, and we will stand for that until the day we die.*

We are WikiTruth.
We hereby declare to post information onto this immutable ledger with the sole intent to distribute, inform, and participate in the free exchange of knowledge.
We do not believe in "government-given" rights. We believe that the only thing a government can do with a person's rights, is take them away.

As a human, you are innately born with freedom. Any "rights" that are "granted" to you by the government, are merely those they have yet to stripe you off.
To put it bluntly: A GOVERNMENT CAN NOT GIVE RIGHTS, IT CAN ONLY TAKE THEM AWAY.

With that in mind, we will be using the Steem blockchain in order to release information that should be public and free.
