This past weekend I visited Bateleur's Nest in Klaserie. A private game reserve in the greater Kruger National Park.

We were there for a biltong competition, which I'll tell you more about later... but the real excitement was one night when I came face to face with a wild lion.

Check it out, keep an eye out for my nervous hand when the second lion comes past. Fortunately it was dark, so you couldn't see what was happening in my pants :P
