The markhor (Capra falconeri) is a large goat. It is found in woodland in the Western Himalayas of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir.
Markhor are 65 to 115 centimeters tall at the shoulder. They as a rule weigh from 40 to 110 kilograms. Females are a tan shading with a white underbelly and an example of high contrast on the legs. Guys are a lighter tan shading with a similar white underbelly and example on the legs. Markhor are dynamic (move around additional) in the early morning and late evening. Females assemble in crowds (gatherings) of up to nine creatures. Guys generally live alone.
